We also diagnose and treat the following disorders:
FIBROIDS
Uterine Fibroids: uterine fibroids are non-cancerous tumors that are usually found in the uterus. Although fibroids are up of the same smooth fibers of the uterine wall, they are much denser and are usually round.
OVARIAN CYSTS
Ovarian cysts: ovarian cysts are fluid-filled sacs in the ovary. They are common and usually form during ovulation. Ovulation happens when the ovary releases an egg each month.
ABNORMAL VAGINAL DISCHARGE
Abnormal vaginal discharge: vaginal discharge serves as an important housekeeping in the female reproductive system. Fluid made by glands inside the vagina and cervix carries away dead cells and bacteria. This keeps the vagina clean and helps prevent infection. Abnormal vaginal discharge is any change in the vagina’s balance of normal bacteria that affects the smell, odour or discharge texture.
BLOCKED TUBES
Blocked Fallopian Tubes: the fallopian tubes are 2 thin tubes, one on each side of the uterus, which helps lead a mature egg form the ovaries to the uterus. When an obstruction prevents the egg from travelling down the tube the womb has a blocked tube. It can occur on both sides.
LOW SPERM COUNT
Low sperm count: low sperm count means that the fluid (semen) you ejaculate during an orgasm contains fewer sperm than normal. Your sperm count is considered lower than normal when you fewer than 15 million per millilitre of semen.
Having a low sperm count decreases the odds that one of your sperm will fertilize your partner’s egg resulting in pregnancy. Nonetheless, many men who have a low sperm count are still able to father a child.
HPV VIRUS
The HPV Virus: Human Papillomavirus causes a change in the cervix. It is not the same as HIV. HPV is not a new virus. Most men and women who have ever had sex had HPV at some time in their lives. HPV infections lead to cervical cancer.
